"Istahdimme siis tänään piknikille Hakaniemen torin kulman parkkipaikalle. Maksoin yhden ruudun verran parkkiaikaa pariksi tunniksi ja siinä sitten piipahti muutamia tuntemattomia kyselemässä, mistä on kyse. Lisäksi kymmenkunta ihmistä tuli varta vasten pikniklle.
Homma päättyi reilun tunnin kuluttua, kun poliisi saapui paikalle ja kehotti meitä poistumaan. Olin aiemmin soittanut poliisille ja kysynyt, tarvitaanko tällaiseen parkkipaikalla piknikin viettoon esim. ilmoitusta yleisötilaisuudesta. Koska kyseessä oli “vähäisen määrän osanottajia” keräävä tilaisuus, niin minulle sanottiin, ettei lupaa tarvitse ja piknik on ok.
Mutta rikoimmekin siis tietämättämme tieliikennelakia. Poliisiautosta kerrottiin, että parkkipaikalle saa parkkeerata vain moottoriajoneuvoja, ei polkupyöriä ja ihmisiä. Niinpä keräsimme kamppeemme ja poistuimme."
